Guy Murray is an Australian country rock artist with an unbreakable spirit, a love for music, and a passion for sharing his journey. Born with cerebral palsy, Guy has faced more than his share of challenges—from overcoming physical limitations to surviving cancer, enduring personal losses, and even facing homelessness after moving to Hervey Bay. Yet, through every struggle, his dedication to music has helped him rise above, turning his life experiences into authentic, heartfelt songs.

Now 34, Guy has written over 20 songs and produced three albums, including Scars & Guitars Remastered, featuring the tribute “Fly Away” to his late baby brother. His music reflects his life’s journey, full of resilience and hope, drawing inspiration from his family and his young daughter.

With a strong local presence at markets and events, along with support from his team at Planet Sound Labs, Guy is bringing his music to broader audiences through platforms like YouTube and Spotify. “I just want to create music that makes people smile and feel happy,” he says. “Music is for everyone, no matter your ability. You just have to be committed and open to learning.”
